TATTOO AFTERCARE

About

The most important part of the Tattoo process is the healing part.

It is your responsibility to look after your new Tattoo, and to ensure it will stay looking It's best on your skin once it has fully healed.

 

Please remember your artist has put alot of time and effort

into your tattoo, so you should do the same.

 

 

Tattoo aftercare,

 

Do -

 

Do, if a dressing has been applied, after 4 hours remove this dressing and gently wash the area with warm soapy water and pat the area dry.

 

Do keep your new tattoo dry, take a shallow bath/quick shower and keep it out of the water.

 

Do, apply a thin layer of Bepanthen twice a day until fully healed.

 

Do, wear loose fitting clothing so the area doesn’t get irritated. 

 

Do, keep the area clean.

 

Do, use SPF once the area has healed, this will help to preserve the colour.

 

 

Dont -

 

Don’t, get your tattoo wet again until its fully healed, if this happens gently pat the area dry - DO NOT RUB.

 

Don’t,  DO NOT PICK or SCRATCH. After a couple of days the Tattoo will begin to heal, if you pick or scratch the area you will pull the ink out.

 

Don’t, use Vaseline, Babyoil E45 etc.

 

Don’t, use sunbeds during the healing process.

 

Don’t, expose the area to direct sun light.

 

 

 

Your new Tattoo will take around 7 to 10 days to heal.

If you are unsure about anything please don't hesitate to contact us.

If you do not follow these instructions, you may get an uneven result or the ink

may come out completely. Its also important to follow our instructions so you don’t end up with an infection. 

 

 

If you have followed these instructions, and your Tattoo does still require a touch up, then you

are entitled to a single free re-touch, this must be booked within 3 WEEKS of your

appointment (Please note this does note include hand Tattoo’s, our minimum charge of £40 will apply)

Any further appointments booked the 3 week period are chargeable.
